My University daughter was assaulted by a stranger on the streets of NYC.
We weighed various options, eg, Private security etc. That’s when we decided on a protection dog.Thankfully we found Evan Dunbar. Not only did he pick the perfect dog for her but he is incredibly knowledgable about his dogs. He interviewed us and my daughter extensively and found the right dog for her. Her dog is so forgiving and kind and clearly will protect her with his ife. We received him trained at about 14 months old. Evan worked with both the dog and mydaughter for the summer and then flew to NY to train them both on The Subway, Elevators, Escalators, Ubers, Restaurants, etc. Her dog goes to Class with her everyday and he is very popular with both students and professors. He has alerted her to men following her by immediately turning around and walking backwards whilst watching the person. If she feels the need she gives him the “Bark”command and that is enough to chase them off. Her Dog has helped her on 5 different occasions and as early as last week she was taunted by a group of youths and he once again went to work and viciously “Barked” them into retreating. Evan trained him to fly on Delta so she travels with him at her feet. They train twice a week with Evan when they come home and that will continue for the life o
fthe dog. You cannot put a price on your child’s life and if you divide the price of the dog by the years he will live and work for you it makes perfect financial sense. He is now 3yrs old. Evan Dunbar not only gave us the perfect dog but he helped our daughter through a critical time in her life and gave her the means to be able to be part of society knowing she is safe with her dog by her side
